Honey Festival

Held every year in May, the honey festival celebrates the region’s primary product. The festival is held in the hills just north of Agadir in Imouzzer des Ida Outanane. Argana is considered the largest and oldest collective beehive in the world. Most of the hives, which have been preserved, are made with reed cylinders covered in clay using traditional techniques.

The region is a major producer quality Moroccan honey.
